An Ordinance Regulating the use of tobacco products at the Jamestown Community Playground located at North Main Road, Jamestown.
It is hereby ordained by the Town of Jamestown, Rhode Island, that Chapter 15 (Parks, Beaches, Recreation) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding a new Section 15-18 as follows:
(a) Use of tobacco prohibited. Smoking and other uses of tobacco products are hereby prohibited at the Jamestown Community Playground located at North Main Road, Jamestown.
(b) Any person violating this ordinances may be ejected from the Jamestown Community Playground and/or may be fined not more than One Hundred Dollars($100.00) per offense, which sum shall be collected for the use of the Town of Jamestown.
© This ordinance shall take effect upon passage.
